
Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions of a tour with J. Draper London, including our cancellation policy, are based on the minimum requirements of the Assocation of Professional Tourist Guides (APTG). By booking a tour with J. Draper London, you are agreeing to abide by the following terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed.
Payment
Payment is due at least two weeks before the first date of a tour. A booking is not secured until the full balance is paid.
Cancellation charges
You may cancel a tour at any time. Tours cancelled 10 to 5 days prior to the first date of a tour will be charged at 50% of the fee. Tours cancelled 4 days (96 hours) or less prior to the first date of a tour will be charged at 100% of the fee.
On rare occasions, J. Draper may need to cancel a tour at short notice due to, e.g. illness. In these cases, you will be offered the option to reschedule the tour or a full refund (and my profuse apologies).
Late arrival
If the client is more than 20 minutes late to the meeting point of a tour without notifying the guide, then the tour is considered cancelled and no refund will be offered.
Filming
APTG members reserve the right to decline to be filmed, videoed or otherwise recorded during the course of their work.
Extra costs
It is the client's responsibility to purchase entry tickets for themselves to any paid sites on the tour (e.g. Churchill War Rooms, the Tower of London). We generally recommend that this is done in advance, except in the case of Westminster Abbey, where we recommend buying tickets on the day.
If multiple tours are booked for the same day, then it is the client's responsibility to pay for their own transport between tours and food where necessary. J. Draper London will book a location for your lunch between the tours. Please advise on the number of guests and any food allergies at least two weeks prior to the first day of the tour.
