Walking Tour: Introduction to... The City of London

Walk between giants on this two-hour walking tour of the skyscrapers at London's financial heart. In the capital's commercial heart are some of the biggest and strangest skyscrapers in the country. We see them on the news every day, but how many of us know how they actually get built? On this tour, we'll walk between the giants that straddle London's skyline and dish the gossip on the planning permission fights that go on behind the scenes.

J. Draper goes to Luxembourg! At the City Library, I'll be talking about my book Mavericks, and telling the stories of some of my favourite characters- Sabrina Sidney, an orphan kidnapped into a bizarre child-raising experiment; La Chevaliere d'Eon, the French spy who was legally recognised as a woman in the 18th century; and James Chuma and David Susi, who walked hundreds of miles across Africa with a dead body.
